Leo Edwards
1937 -About
Leo Edwards was an African American composer. He is most known for his unfinished opera 'Harriet Tubman'. His music was unique, as it was often written with an "organic" principle in mind, by which each new section of a work contained all the information from previous sections, though sometimes, by his words, "the information is taken out at a gradual and logical rate."
